Tim Albin Named Blue Hens' New Offensive Coordinator
by Cornelius Deeznutson | January 15, 2027

Newark, DE – Over two weeks passed since the death of Terrance Archer, the University of Delaware have turned a new page and have hired Tim Albin as their new offensive coordinator. After three straight 10-win seasons with Ohio, Albin shocked fans by taking the bag and signing with Charlotte. Unfortunately, he was unable to replicate his success with Ohio and was let go by Charlotte after finishing 5-8 and 2-10 in his two seasons with the program.

Now that his stock has plummeted, Albin is looking to jumpstart his career by joining Randall Tolliver's staff at Delaware. The Blue Hens hope to tap into their offense's potential with Albin's spread pistol scheme. Although Delaware averaged a conference high 423.4 yards per game, they were only able to score a measly 20.0 points per game which is ranked seventh in the conference.

Delaware finished the season with two 1000 yard rushers, quarterback Riley Trujillo and All-CUSA running back Oliver Redd who combined for 2231 rushing yards. "The sky is the limit with the talent on the ground game here," Albin said in his introduction press conference.

Meet the Delaware 2027 Recruiting Class

Barely missing out on a bowl game and a possible conference championship appearance last season, the Blue Hens needed to make a big splash with this year's recruiting class. Delaware finished this recruiting season with the 41st ranked class, the highest ranked class in Conference USA. The second best recruiting class in the conference would be their cock rivals Jacksonville State at 70. Delaware may not be able to win a football match against Jacksonville State, but they are able to flex their massive and

Delaware once again features the only four-star commit in the conference, running back J.P. Treggs. With Greg Spiller leaving the program for "championship contender" reasons, Treggs is primed to compliment All-CUSA running back Oliver Redd in the backfield in the Hens revamped offense under newly hired offensive coordinator Tim Albin. "What we lacked the past two seasons was a power back," head coach Randall Tolliver told the media after Treggs announced his commitment to the program. "It's nice to have a change of pace back like him when Redd needs to take a breather."

The Hens also hit a grand slam with their transfer portal pick ups. The main star of the show is former Notre Dame wide receiver Micah Gilbert, who did not see the field once last season. With the loss of Jake Thaw last season, the weakness of the passing game became very evident. Without a true WR1, Riley Trujillo struggled into any rhythm through the air all season long. With the addition of Gilbert, the offense now once again have a speedy receiver who is actually taller than 6'0".

The passing game also gains another weapon in tight end Andrew Olesh. Finally, a real tight end and not a long snapper running flat routes. After spending a season with Penn State and Eastern Michigan each, the Central Valley product decided to take his talent to a third school in three years. Standing at 6'5", the offense will now have a vertical threat that they have been longing for the past couple of seasons. Olesh finished last season with 44 catches, 458 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

On the defensive side, Delaware picked up free safety Micah Prassas who may be Alex Adebayo's replacement as the rover. Prassas finished last season starting all 12 games at BYU with 45 tackles and a pick.

23 fumbles

I get it tho, those scrambling QBs are hot or cold with ball security. Pretty sure when I had Bryce Underwood it was about the same
