The Halifax Hooligan.
This is the story about Antonio Vaquer, also known in the community as the
Halifax Hooligan.
Where did the nickname come from? Well, Antonio has developed quite a reputation across the QMJHL as a member of the
Halifax Mooseheads.
Opposing teams know that's he's an enforcer. That he's there to spark a fire in his team, & win by any means necessary. How does he do it?
He fights...
A lot.

Following an uppercut, #75 didn't want to fight anymore.
After Vaquer knocked out his teammate, James Guo wanted to take a shot at Halifax's enforcer.

Guo wasn't ready as Vaquer won his second fight of the night.

Saginaw's players continue to try the Halifax Hooligan, resulting in Antonio's 3rd fight of the game that he came out on top as Parekh was the next victim.

Sagninaw's Will Bishop was next to stand up to Antonio Vaquer, while he met the same demise as his former teammates.

Halifax's Antonio Vaquer Goes Viral After Winning 4 Fights Against Saginaw.
The Halifax Mooseheads are in the headlines following an overtime win over the Saginaw Spirit, but not for the impressive hat trick from Logan Crosby, or the overtime winning goal from Peter Reynolds.
Social media couldn't stop talking about the team enforcer: Antonio Vaquer.
Known among Moosehead fans as the Halifax Hooligan, Vaquer's unreal 4 fight performance against Saginaw has topped all discussion on the team's social media by far.
Some users are even going as far as saying that Vaquer is in the wrong career path. That if a career in hockey doesn't work out, he could knock people out for a living.
With a chin of steel & hands of stone, Vaquer's popularity is skyrocketing as he has become a bad boy in the QMJHL.
But don't ask him how he feels about the recent surge of conversation.
"I do what I do to help my team win. If that means fighting, I fight. If that means bleeding, I bleed." Vaquer told ESPN.
The Mooseheads will be facing the Moose Jaw Warriors in their next round robin matchup for the Memorial Cup.
It will be interesting to see who on the Warriors wants to take a chance at going toe to toe with the Halifax Hooligan.

Do you have plans to expand his portfolio as a player or he just going to be throwing hands every game?
