Titans reach one-year deal with center Garrett Bradbury
The Tennessee Titans took what they hope is a step forward in solidifying their offensive line for third-year quarterback Cam Ward by agreeing to a one-year, $6.2 million contract with free agent center Garrett Bradbury.

Bradbury will be the top candidate to replace Lloyd Cushenberry, who was traded earlier this offseason to the Cleveland Browns. He spent the past two seasons in New England where he played in all seventeen games. The Titans have been looking to replace Cushenberry since free agency started, going after other options before landing on Bradbury who is 31.

Florida's Roderick Kearney, who is a projected first round pick, had been mocked to the Titans in mock drafts with one of the Titans' first round picks but following the trade to acquire Justin Jefferson, the Titans first pick is now in the third round.

The team also added some depth pieces on defense with defensive lineman Marcus Davenport and nose tackle Khyiris Tonga, signing them to one-year deals worth $8.3 million and $7.5 million respectively. Linebacker Brandon Smith was signed earlier in the week on a two-year, $6.8 million contract to be Zaire Franklin's backup. Smith started six games for the Raiders last season.

Davenport is a bigger defensive end at 285 pounds, similar to Rueben Bain. He had six sacks in 2025 with Detroit before playing in just five games this past season due to injuries. The former first round pick will likely replace the role left behind by Charles Omenihu, who backed up Bain and also provided some positional versatility with his ability to play inside on pass rushing downs.

Tonga joins Nazir Stackhouse and Nick Gonzales as the backup options for T'Vondre Sweat at nose tackle. Another former Patriot, Tonga's stats don't jump off the page but he's been an effective gap plugging option at 338 pounds, making him the 3rd heaviest player on the defensive line behind Sweat (366) and Gonzales (358).

Marcus Mariota returns to Tennessee on one-year deal as Titans round out roster
Marcus Mariota has signed a one year, $2.5 million deal to compete with Jalen Milroe to be Cam Ward's backup as the former number two overall draft pick returns to Nashville.

Mariota was among six signings that were announced on Wednesday as the Titans signed center Jon Gaines, offensive guard Kenyon Green, safety Lonnie Johnson, offensive tackle Dawand Jones and brought back running back Damien Martinez. They were all one year deals ranging from $2 million to the $6 million that Jones will be paid to be the team's backup left tackle.

The former Heisman winner started seven games for the Los Angeles Rams last season in place for the injured Carson Beck who was ironically Ward's successor at the University of Miami. He threw for ten touchdowns and six interceptions, including a 303 yard performance with two touchdowns against Atlanta. Mariota won his first two starts before losing the next four.

The signings bring the Titans roster total to sixty-one with fourteen spots left for their draft picks and undrafted free agents after the draft as free agency wraps up.
