Tim Albin Named Blue Hens' New Offensive Coordinator
by Cornelius Deeznutson | January 15, 2027
Newark, DE – Over two weeks passed since the death of Terrance Archer, the University of Delaware have turned a new page and have hired Tim Albin as their new offensive coordinator. After three straight 10-win seasons with Ohio, Albin shocked fans by taking the bag and signing with Charlotte. Unfortunately, he was unable to replicate his success with Ohio and was let go by Charlotte after finishing 5-8 and 2-10 in his two seasons with the program.
Now that his stock has plummeted, Albin is looking to jumpstart his career by joining Randall Tolliver's staff at Delaware. The Blue Hens hope to tap into their offense's potential with Albin's spread pistol scheme. Although Delaware averaged a conference high 423.4 yards per game, they were only able to score a measly 20.0 points per game which is ranked seventh in the conference.
Delaware finished the season with two 1000 yard rushers, quarterback Riley Trujillo and All-CUSA running back Oliver Redd who combined for 2231 rushing yards. "The sky is the limit with the talent on the ground game here," Albin said in his introduction press conference.
