The Lakers took a quick 4-0 lead thanks to Austin Rivers, but the Warriors bounced back and tied the game up 11-11 on a jumpshot by Brandin Podziemski. Rui Hachimura's three-point play gave the Lakers a 23-19 lead and the Warriors again responded with a 11-3 run to end the quarter up 30-26.

LeBron James tied the game with a layup 46-46. The Warriors ended the first half on a 10-5 run to take a 56-51 lead.

The Wolves cut the Lakers lead down to eleven on a jumpshot from Luka Garza, 71-60. The Lakers managed to keep their lead in double digits at the end of the third, 76-64.

The fourth quarter was a very low scoring one. Chris Paul knocked in a three-pointer to start, putting the Warriors up 83-67. LeBron James three-point play cut the Warriors lead down to a mere three points, 87-84. Following two free throws by James, D'Angelo Russell scored a layup, pulling the Lakers to within two, 92-90. The Warriors however knocked down all four free throws in the closing seconds of the game and hung on for a 96-90 victory.

Starting to look like the ceiling will be the 4th seed, which hopefully you can get home-court guaranteed for at least one round. I would say Atlanta would be a easier win without Trae but I saw they just beat the Clippers so could still be close
