NEW JERSEY — It was a battle of the league's top two teams today as Racing Louisville FC & Gotham FC went at it.

While Racing Louisville FC struggled to compete against Gotham FC, they'll be back on the pitch again at home on June 13th against the 3rd place Chicago Stars.

Glad to see this is still chugging along. I like the new format you've brought in. Need to catch back up to this.

This is a fun follow. I have never followed a NWSL manager mode before. I follow the Tottenham Women's team, but I am not familiar with the US leagues. Regina van Eijk is a great signing by you, her comeback to van der Vaart a couple year ago made her a known name.

Appreciate it, Sir. I knew it was time to switch it up & I like the new format I've come up with
Never thought I'd be nearing 100 pages with this chise when I first started it but it quickly became a personal favorite for me.

van Eijk is a beast! We picked her up in season 1 after I sold our star keeper & I needed to find a replacement. She's been around for the ride pretty much since the beginning
I think a WSL chise would be fun but I'm a Forest fan & their women's team isn't WSL. I'd probably do Arsenal or Chelsea once this chise finishes up. Chelsea has Girma, Macario, & Thompson. All on the USWNT.

The Chicago Stars Are No Match As Erëleta Memeti & Adèle Connesson Tally Braces In Racing's Victory.
NWSL, Matchday 13: June 13, 2031 - Lynn Family Stadium, Louisville, KY

Erëleta Memeti scores her second goal at the 66' mark despite the tough defense.
LOUISVILLE — It was a convincing victory for Racing today as the #2 & #3 teams in the NWSL faced off, with Racing defending the #2 spot with ease.
Adèle Connesson didn't waste any time with a goal within the first 4 minutes of the match, & then followed up with a second goal at the beginning of the second half.
"Adèle has shown tremendous growth since being part of this team. She knows how to find the back of the net." Racing's head coach, Filipa Patão, said following Racing's win.
Joining Connesson on the stat sheet was Erëleta Memeti, who also tallied a brace herself, with goals at the end of the first half & again at the 66th minute.
Louisville GK Regina van Eijk tallied 3 saves against Chicago's 12 shot attempts, earning her 4th clean sheet through 13 games.
A win today solidified Racing's commitment to compete, & they'll now face the team atop of the table in their next contest: Gotham FC.
Louisville last played Gotham on June 8th in Harrison, NJ, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.
Gotham FC has 29 points & Racing Louisville has 28 points. A win for Racing would earn them the top spot, but anything short of a win will see things stay the same.
