Week Four SEC Preview

South Caroline hosts Connecticut on Thursday afternoon to kick things off for the week. UConn comes in winless while SC is 2-1 with a #21 ranking.

4-0 Arkansas takes on Texas A&M at AT&T Stadium. This should be a good one too between a great Arkansas defense and running game and a more explosive Aggies offense.

2-1 Kentucky travels into the Swamp to face a winless Florida team that got walloped by Georgia Tech last week. The Gators are hungry for a win.

#20 Auburn (2-1) hosts 1-2 UAB in what should ber a rout for the Tigers.

Vandy looks to rebound from their loss to Arkansas by hostin FCS Tennessee State.

LSU (0-3[0-1]) hosts Mississippi State in an evening game. The Bulldogs are 3-1 but records don't mean much in Baton Rouge.

#8 Tennessee hosts Texas State at night.

Undefeated foes clash in a match up between Missiouri (#4, 3-0/2-0) and Georgia (#13 4-0/2-0) in Athens. Georgia QB Adam Moore and Mizzou RB Darryl Moore are ranked 1st and 2nd in the Heisman race. They're also cousins. Should be a good one there.

Alabama, ranked 7th with a 3-1 record, gets a spot in the game of the week again as they travel to take on a 2-2 Ole Miss team that trampled Arkansas State last week. The Rebels surely have an upset on their minds.

Outlook: Texas A&M suffered a somewhat surprising 35-9 loss in week one against Navy then beat Tennessee and Clemson with a win over FCS Northwestern State in between. They are averaging over 420 yards of offense per game so the Arkansas defense, currently ranked #1 in yards allowed, may have their first real test. Arkansas will look to run the ball and use up clock to keep the ball away from Goddard, who threw for 350 yards and three scores against Clemson last week.
