Ella Palis finds the net again for a second straight match in Louisville's victory over the NC Courage.
LOUISVILLE — Fans were excited to witness Alisha Lehmann back in the starting lineup against the NC Courage, & she capitalized on the opportunity with a goal 10 minutes into the match.
The match was settled in the first 45 minutes, after Ella Palis's goal put Racing ahead 2-0, & eventually would be the deciding factor against the Courage.
"We played great today. We know what we're capable of, so it feels like we're starting to recognize it & we're turning it into wins." Savannah DeMelo told DS.net.
Racing Louisville has picked up victories over the two worst teams in the NWSL in the past week & now will turn their sights on a much better opponent: the Houston Dash.
Louisville will travel to the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston next Saturday for a match against the Dash. A match that could see Racing tying Gotham FC for first place (only if Gotham loses next weekend).

I didn't get into soccer until last year so I wanted to keep it local & this is the only pro team in the state so I rocked with them. 8 seasons later & I'm still doing it.
