Adèle Connesson scores her first goal of the season in today's draw against the Seattle Reign.
LOUISVILLE — Expressions in the crowd went from tense in the first half, to excited after Connesson's goal, to really excited after DeMelo's goal, & then immediately returned to tense as the visiting' Seattle Reign evened the score & forced a draw in today's match.
"It hurts to let one slip away that we know we should have won." team captain Ella Palis told DS.net. "This season is still early & we'll regroup for our next game."

Fans will have to wait 8 days until Racing Louisville returns to action when the team travels to Los Angeles to face off against Angel City FC at the BMO Stadium.

Ella Palis embraces her teammates after netting the goal that solidified Racing's victory today in Los Angeles.
LOS ANGELES — Fans filled the seats of the BMO Stadium for today's match against the defending champions' Racing Louisville. & while Angel City FC has yet to win a game this season, that didn't deter fans away from packing out the arena.
The first half consisted of both teams feeling each other out & even saw Angel City draw first blood behind Faustine Ferry's goal at the 34th minute.
Racing Louisville refused to go down easy against the last place squad as Connesson netted an equalizer before the break & the rest of the game belonged to team captain, Ella Palis.
"We were back in Palis' palace today." Racing's head coach, Filipa Patão, told DS.net.
"She was not going to be stopped & won us the game today."
Angel City FC's record now stands at 0-0-8 as they will continue to search for their first points this season.
Racing Louisville FC, however, is now tied for 2nd place with Chicago Stars FC after today's victory. On Saturday, they'll host the 13th place NC Courage at Lynn Family Stadium for their next match.
