CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Luka Doncic had 42 points, Austin Reaves finished with 19 points and nine assists as the Lakers offense ramped up in a pivotal second half against the Charlotte Hornets and pulled away for a 122-107 victory.

Colin Sexton had 29 points on five 3-pointers and Miles Bridges flirted with a triple double before finishing with 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists for the Hornets, who continued to struggle without their top two scores in LeMalo Ball and Brandon Miller.

Marcus Smart and Rui Hachimura each knocked down timely 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as the Hornets were mounting a comeback.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 22 points and 14 assists, and the Oklahoma City Thunder rolled past the Los Angeles Lakers 11-95 on Wednesday night.

Cason Wallace added 21 points for the Thunder, who improved their league-best record to 12-1.

Oklahoma City blew out one of its top Western Conference rivals for the second game. They beat the Golden State Warriors 120-94 on Tuesday night.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic scored 24 points and 10 rebounds on 10-for-19 shooting. Austin Reaves, in his second game back from injury finished with 33 points on 10-for-19 shooting. However, Doncic and Reaves combined for 13 of the Lakers 24 turnovers.

The Lakers played without LeBron James once again, though he practiced on Wednesday for the first time this season.

NEW ORLEANS - Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic each scored 29 points, helping the Los Angeles Lakers cruise to a 113-92 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans in an NBA Cup game on Friday night.

Deandre Ayton made 7 of 9 shots and finished with 15 points, 15 rebounds and four assists for the Lakers, who improved to 2-0 in cup play to remain atop West Group B.

Jeremiah Fears scored 25 points for the Pelicans, who lost their fourth straight game, fell to 0-2 in the in-season tournament, and to a Western Conference-worst 2-10 overall.

Rui Hachimura and Marcus Smart each had 14 points each for the Lakers, who led 59-56 at halftime.

The Lakers outscored the Pelicans 54-36 in the second half.

MILWAUKEE - Luka Doncic had 35 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals, Dalton Knecht added 22 points, and the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 112-97 on Saturday night.

Deandre Ayton had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Lakers.

Both teams were playing the second game of a back-to-back, with each notching wins in the NBA Cup games on Friday night.

The Lakers played without Rui Hachimura (calf tightness) and Marcus Smart (illlness). LeBron James also remained out with sciatica and has missed all 14 games this season.

Gary Trent had 21 points, hitting 4-of-5 3-pointers, A.J. Green scored 17 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 11 points, nine rebounds, 13 assists and seven turnovers for the Bucks (8-6), who couldn't overcome the Lakers dominating second half.

The Bucks had a one point lead at halftime, 64-63, but the Lakers held the Bucks to just 33 second half points.
